Aaron Kaplan has been racing since 2008 when he began racing in the very competitive Spec Miata class. While racing in Spec Miata, Aaron participated in SCCA, NASA and the Autobahn Country Club racing series’. In 2013, he and his team purchased a BMW M3 and began racing in the SCCA Touring 3 class. A few years later, after winning multiple championships, Aaron moved into the Touring 2 class, which he still competes in today. Beginning in 2024, Aaron started racing full time in the SRO TCX class. As part of the Touring Car America series, Aaron has joined other professional drivers in a very competitive racing organization. In 2023, he did one race with SRO at Road America to test the waters with great success, yielding a 3rd place result and Hard Charger award. In the 2024 season, he has added two more 3rd place finishes and three more Hard Charger awards in the first three rounds. Aaron’s overall goal in racing is to compete in the Rolex 24 Hour race at Daytona International Speedway. In a racing career that has lasted for over 16 years, Aaron has finished on the podium in over sixty races, winning twenty of those
races, and has won six divisional and conference championships.
